ENGLISH - JELLYFISH

A JELLYFISH WITH ITS TOXIC TENTACLES

Jellyfish    pulse gently as they drift through the sea , feared by swimmers , loathed by fishermen and reppelent to most who encounter them.Scientists have discovered that these gelatinous animals , in their own habitat , are among the most numerous and in some ways ingenious and beautiful predators in Earth.

Without eyes (in most species ) , ears or even a brain , jellyfish manage to affect everything that lives in the ocean.They have the conventional bell-like shape and they simply wait everywhere with their dangling , toxic ,  stinging tentacles. These creatures can rapily increase in size when food is plentiful. When food becomes scarce , a jellyfish can shrink down again and travel light. They are fed on planktonic plants and animals. In a world with few hiding places , being transparent is a jelly's best defence.They are the major food source for salmon and butterfish , and they are easy to eat since they don't swim fast. A lot of them end up being eaten by sea anemones or pecked by birds.

Praya , as thick as your wrist , has been measured to be the longest jellyfish on Earth , longer than a blue whale  (thank God it's living 800 feet deep!!! ).Nowadays some people buy jellyfish Beanie Babies and keep them as pets.

Ha debutado con S , su propia fragancia , muy fresca y sutil con un olor atrayente y seductor que lleva todos los olores que la apasionan: el jazmίn , el άmbar , el sάndalo , la vainilla.Siempre tiene algo que hacer , no puede estar parada pero en cuanto tiene un momento libre se pone la serie TRUE BLOOD que es el ύnico que puede ver mientras hace deporte para ir descargando adrenalina.

ΤΡΕΛΛΟ ΚΑΡΝΑΒΑΛΙ 2009

 Χαρούμενοι οι μαθητές μας πήραν μέρος , τραγούδησαν και χόρεψαν στο Καρναβάλι που διοργάνωσε ο Δήμος Σαλαμίνας το 2009.

Μασκαρεμένοι σαν Πουλιά του Δάσους ακολουθούν το άρμα του Αισώπου.

-George Orwell , in his famous book Animal Farm , quoted: "All animals are equal but some are more equal than others" . ( Painfully true!!!! )
