DID YOU KNOW THAT...?

-The day after Christmas traditionally was the day for giving presents to the servants.As these were usually food , or other necessary items , they were put in boxes. That is why the day is named "Boxing Day ".

-Edward VI was crowned King of England when he was only nine years old.He was too young to reign so his uncle , the Duke of Somerset , ruled for him.If Edward ever did anything wrong he was never punished. Instead , another boy called Barnaby , was whipped in his place. He was called the King's Whipping Boy!!!!  ( Poor Barnaby!!!! )
